GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Zodiac Online Shop
These are our general terms and conditions. They, along with the references they contain, apply to every agreement we, Marine Trading International BV trading under Zodiac Nederland (Chamber of Commerce number: 34289630), enter into with you through this WEBSHOP. You can also reach us by phone at +31-(0)297-368385. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions. You agree that the latest version of these terms and conditions will always apply to our agreement.
Article 1 - Products
We sell water sports articles such as inflatable boats, outboard motors, parts and accessories.
Article 2 - Payments
The (total) price of the products, including taxes and shipping costs, is displayed in our webshop before you accept the offer. Payment is made in advance via our secure online payment service. We accept, among other things: iDEAL, PayPal, Klarna, MobilePay, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard. Online payments are processed securely through our payment partners Mollie, Shopify Payments, and PayPal.
It is also possible to pay for your order via a regular bank transfer prior to shipment.
If a price change occurs after acceptance of the offer, you will be informed of this and can then decide to cancel the purchase.
Shipping costs are your responsibility. We offer free shipping within the Netherlands for orders over €50.
The prices of the products include VAT.
Article 3 - Deliveries
We will deliver your product to the address you provided when ordering. You cannot change the address once we have shipped the package. DHL, PostNL, or another courier service will handle the distribution. Once the package has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code from us, allowing you to track your order. You are obligated to accept the package upon delivery. The risk of damage and/or loss of products remains with us until the moment of delivery to you, unless expressly agreed otherwise. We will do our best to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If your order is delayed, we will notify you in writing. We guarantee that you will receive your order no later than 30 days after confirmation of your order. If this is not possible, you can request us to (a) immediately refund the amount you paid for the product, or (b) send you a replacement product (of equal value).
Delivery times are indicative and do not entitle you to compensation if they are exceeded.
Article 4 - Guarantees
We guarantee that the goods sold conform to the agreement, that they will function without defects, and that they are suitable for the intended use. The warranty period is in accordance with our suppliers' warranty terms and may vary by product. If you have any questions about this, please email us at info@zodiaconlineshop.nl .
Article 5 - Returns - Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days to cancel your order and report the return. You can do this as described on our returns page . After you receive confirmation from us, you must send the product back within 14 days. We will refund the full purchase price within 14 days of registering the return, provided we have already received the product in good order.
Once we receive the product, we will refund the full purchase price within 14 days, or, if it's an incorrect product, we will replace it with the correct one. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. During this time, you must consider whether you want to keep the product, and you must handle it and its packaging with care.
You may only unpack and use the product to the extent necessary to determine whether you wish to keep it. If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to try it out, we may charge you for the reduction in value of the product. Therefore, please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged upon return. You cannot return a product with signs of wear. Second-hand, used, and other non-new items are generally not returnable, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Article 6 - Liability
We are not liable for damage caused by the use of a product. This does not apply if such damage is caused by our intent, gross negligence, or conscious recklessness. In any case, your right to compensation will be limited to the price of the product ordered and paid for.
Article 7 - Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights (such as copyrights, logos, and word marks) in our texts, photos, images, and other materials are our property (or are managed by us with the permission of the copyright holder). Your use of these rights may not infringe upon them.
Article 8 - Complaints procedure
If you have a complaint about the performance of the agreement, we would like to hear from you. Please send your complaint, fully and clearly described, to info@zodiaconlineshop.nl within two months of discovering the defects. We will handle your complaint as quickly as possible, no later than 10 days after receiving it. If it takes longer to handle your complaint, you will receive confirmation of your complaint within two days and we will let you know when we expect a substantive response.
If we find your complaint to be justified, we will repair or replace the delivered products. If we cannot resolve the complaint amicably, it will become a dispute subject to our dispute resolution procedure.
After you have first reported your complaint to us, you have the option to submit your complaint via the European ODR platform (http://ec.europa.eu/odr).
Article 9 - Dispute resolution
These terms and conditions and the agreements we enter into with you are governed by Dutch law. In the event of a dispute, the court in Amsterdam has jurisdiction.
In the event of a complaint, a consumer should first contact the entrepreneur. If the online store is affiliated with WebwinkelKeur and complaints cannot be resolved amicably, the consumer should contact WebwinkelKeur (www.webwinkelkeur.nl), which will mediate free of charge. Check whether this online store has a current membership via https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/leden/. If a resolution is still not reached, the consumer has the option to submit their complaint to the independent dispute committee appointed by WebwinkelKeur. The decision is binding, and both the entrepreneur and the consumer agree to this binding decision. Submitting a dispute to this dispute committee involves costs, which the consumer must pay to the relevant committee.
